If you receive a request from a user to delete their account, follow the steps below to remove their data from OFN. The process differs depending on whether or not they have ever placed an order, as a user who has placed an order then appears in the enterprise's Customers list and must be deleted from there too.
Search the user's email address in the Orders screen and observe if they've placed any orders. If they have, continue to step 1A, otherwise proceed to step 2.
Make a note of the enterprise(s) the customer has purchased from.
Go to the Customers screen and enter the customer's email address and enterprise
Locate the customer and click the delete button next to their entry
Repeat for as many enterprises as the customer has ordered from
Search the user's email in the Users list
If the user has never placed an order, click the delete button next to their entry. That's it!
If the user has placed an order, they cannot be deleted and instead their email address must be overwritten. Click their address in the Users list to edit.
Go to or an alternative temporary mail service and copy & paste the temporary email address in place of the user's email. Click 'update' to save your changes.
Return to the temporary mail inbox and click the 'confirm your address' link in the email received from OFN.
