Below are some common scenarios that a Customer Support team member might have to investigate or find answers to. The table below shows where to find the answer in the OFN platform and where you can find more information in the User Guide. If you have a frequently asked question that is not covered, please add it below.

If you have longer or more detailed information that will help others answer a question or investigate a problem (eg. an email template, a how-to guide), please add it to Shared Resources and link to it in the More Information column below.

Who did a customer place an order with?

OFN Platform Emails Log into email account that the platform sends emails from (eg for Aus it is Search for the customer's email address to find recent order confirmation emails.

Are they a Producer / ie. can add products?

Do they have any products yet?

Products Select Producer name from drop down. If not visible, they are not set as a Producer

Which package have they selected?

Dashboard - Primary Details Selection options for Sells: None (Profile) Own (Shop) Any (Hub)

Who is the owner of the account?

Dashboard - Users Owner email address

Can I change the owner of the account?

Dashboard - Users Before you can change the email address in the Owner field, you need to make that email address a Manager of the account. If the new email address is not already on OFN, you need to select ‘invite an unregistered user’ and wait for that person to confirm the email.

Who set up the account?

Dashboard - Users Usually this is the owner, unless it has been changed since originally set up. Some profiles have been set up by a volunteer or someone at OFN, and if so, the Enterprises may not be aware their profile exists. Possible OFN owner email addresses in Aus are variations on: or

Who are the managers of the account?

Dashboard - Users Manager email address. NOTE: Sometimes we add ourselves as a manager of a profile, in order to see it as the enterprise sees it.

Who receives email alerts when orders are placed?

Dashboard - Users Notifications email address

Find out which Enterprises a customer owns or manages?

Reports Select Users and Enterprises Report, enter the Customer’s email address and submit. Review whether they have Owner / Manager status, if they are a producer, what their package settings are and if they are visible in search.

Where to find in OFN Admin

Review an Enterprise’s shop front online

Option 1: Find URL in Superadmin Dashboard - Primary Details Option 2: Public search Select Producer from top nav in Search for the Producer by name. If products are in a current order cycle, with valid shipping and payment methods, shop will appear.

Have they entered any information about their Enterprise?

Dashboard - About, Address, Images, Social Media Sometimes it’s helpful to check if there are any details in these sections to get an idea if the customer has been actively setting up their account.

Have they added any products?

Products First, check they are a producer (can’t add products if not) Select Enterprise Name in the Producer drop down and review all products listed by that Enterprise

Have they been included in any order cycles? (Their own or another)

Order Cycles Select Enterprise Name from Enterprise drop down and see if any Order Cycles are found.

Why can’t they see their shop?

Order Cycles Dashboard - Payment Methods Dashboard - Shipping Methods For a shop to be visible, it needs: a) to be in an order cycle which includes current date b) to have shipping methods set c) to have payment methods set

Have they granted (or been granted) any permissions to connect with other Enterprises

Enterprise - Permissions In the Enterprises Tab (slow to load) click on the text Permissions in the green panel beneath the main menu. Enter the Enterprise Name to search for current permissions.

Giving a customer permission to own additional Enterprises.

More - Users Search for the email address of the User account. Click on the email address and change the Enterprise Limit.

Hubs often set up accounts for all of their producers. There is an automatic limit on how many accounts you can own, but we are happy to manually lift that for anyone who asks.

Investigate complex questions of ownerships such as if a customer owns multiple Enterprises, if there are duplicate enterprises with similar names, or if you’d like to see the status of multiple enterprises in the one place

Reports Select Users and Enterprises Report, enter Customer email address or Enterprise names (multiple if required). Review user/manager status, Profile type (producer?), package settings, visibility in search.
